I’m not a
very ‘drinks’ person and most of the time, I prefer plain water
compared to everything else. (okay I know I’m weird) Thus, I dint really
try out that many drinks in Korea, compared to my friends ^^ Korea has a
HUGE variety of drinks just in normal marts and they all look GOOD. One
of the things that I missed most from Korea is browsing through the
drinks section in supermarts ^^
1. 두잇 검은 콩 우유
My top favorite drink from the convenience stores! ^^ Discovered this
black soy milk during the second last week of my trip, hence I dint
managed to drink it very often! The color isn’t too appetizing, but I
like!!
2. 서울우유
Love this!!! Korean milk sure tastes different! Sweeter and not so
creamy. I like! Even my friends who don’t usually take milk conceded
that it’s nice.
3. 동동주
Was a big fan of 막걸이 until I discovered this

I think it tastes similar to 막결이, a little sweeter and less of that
alcoholic taste! Don’t be misled by the photo, the portion is actually
quite big! Loved how you need to scoop out the 동동주 with the ladle into a
smaller bowl. Don’t think the alcoholic level is strong, but others may
beg to differ ^^
4. 복분자 주
Sorry for being an alcoholic

If you like red wine, you will LOVE this. Tastes smooth, slightly
sweet and the alcohol taste is subtle. It retails at around 6700 won,
but SGD21.50. ): Missed it alot, but still, I don’t want to shell out so
much for it here >,<
5. 바나나맛우유
Some of you may have seen an old post where I said this was the drink
I definitely want to try in Korea! And so I did, on the first day there

I would say it’s that kind of drink where you either love or hate it.
The sweet banana taste may not appeal to everyone, but I’m happy to say
that I being to the ‘love it’ camp!
This post is making me sooo thirsty. ):
Btw, what’s your favorite Korean drink? ^^
